A leading global financial services organisation, with a significant presence in Dublin, is seeking a motivated and high-performing individual to join their dynamic technology team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to critical systems supporting their wholesale trading activities.
This is a prominent and complex role that will require the individual to interface with finance, operations, risk management, front office staff and other technology teams regularly.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will:
* Take a lead in planning, managing, and delivering detailed system requirements and technical/functional specifications.
* Provide advice to clients on implementation/customisation requirements.
* Play a key role in leveraging and enhancing valuation, risk, and data platforms.
* Conduct thorough data analysis, reconcile multiple data sources, and provide insightful reporting.
* Independently investigate and resolve issues, and provide training and support to relevant teams.
Ideally, you will possess:
* 5+ years' experience supporting and managing technology within Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Credit.
* Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to confidently articulate complex technical and financial concepts to diverse audiences.
* A strong comfort level and understanding of core capital markets concepts, particularly within Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit, and FX products.
* Proven experience collaborating effectively with technical teams, and ideally some practical experience with Python for data analysis or scripting.
* Experience with applications such as Calypso and Bloomberg are a bonus
