Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and maintain relationships with customers who have an existing partnership with our company. Your primary goal will be to initiate contact, promote services, and ensure that our offers are fully understood by the customer organisation. This role is crucial in underpinning the commercial objectives of our local organisation.
* Develop a commercial strategy for targeted accounts and segments, and implement it effectively.
* Promote and educate applicable installed base services to the target customer base.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of our full offer, particularly around 'Power Systems' and how to apply these across the customer lifecycle.
* Cross-sell our offers to existing customers.
* Develop a working knowledge of all Services offer portfolio from other lines of business (Buildings, IT) and competently apply these to customer 'pain points'.
* Establish and implement dynamic sales plans in accordance with policies.
Qualifications:
* The successful candidate should have a technical qualification, preferably at degree level in engineering, and at least 2 years of sales experience with some sales experience in electrical engineering.
* Electrical systems experience, distribution and protection experience, power quality experience is essential for being a trusted advisor and creating demands.
* Strong account management skills.
* Experience with cold calling and social selling.
* Persuading, convincing, or impressing others to promote our offers and influence decision makers.
* Active listening skills, providing full attention to content and meanings of others' messages.
* The ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
* Energetic, outgoing, proactive, and having a focus on prospecting and networking.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Thorough knowledge of service offerings throughout the asset life cycle, as well as good knowledge of power systems, secure power, and industry systems.
