Compliance Executive
The Compliance Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the Compliance function, ensuring seamless execution of compliance policies and procedures. This position requires excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Support the Compliance Manager in delivering the Compliance framework.
* Provide regulatory advice to the business and projects.
* Assist the Compliance Manager in taking responsibility for delivering projects assigned, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
* Carry out ongoing monitoring and testing across the organization.
* Identify trends arising from MI and escalate identified regulatory risks.
* Draft regulatory reports and client documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain Compliance policies and other relevant manuals and procedures.
* Coordinate, attend, and support compliance at committees.
* Stay up-to-date on new and emerging legislation, ensuring business awareness of requirements.
* Promote a positive compliance culture and awareness through the development of appropriate training for staff.
* Represent the organization at industry events.
Requirements
This role requires:
* A Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
* Training / Specialization: Educated to degree level or professional qualification (LCOI).
* 3 years' experience in compliance, preferably in the insurance industry, with expertise in legal, risk management, or compliance.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise compliance tasks.
* Experience and knowledge of regulatory and commercial aspects of insurance contracts, consumer protection issues, data privacy and security, outsourcing.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* Studying for or qualified in Association of Compliance Officers Ireland (ACOI).
