Maximizing Health, Safety and Quality is at the heart of our organization. We are seeking a seasoned Health & Safety Technical Lead to spearhead our HSQE strategy across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective action plans to ensure compliance with regulatory health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
2. Lead cross-functional teams in delivering company-wide HSQE initiatives and projects aimed at improving our Safety Management System.
3. Coordinate responses to non-compliances identified within business units, ensuring timely rectification and prevention of future occurrences.
4. Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, incident/near-miss data for senior stakeholders, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
5. Support governance of safety frameworks, promote a positive safety culture, leadership and provide guidance to forums focused on health and safety coaching.
6. Offer expert advice on health and safety matters to various functional areas, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant third-level qualification in health and safety, environmental science or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a health and safety/HSQE role, preferably within utility, water or similar sectors, is essential.
