We are delighted to partner with one of our tope clients who is seeking aField Tech Managerto lead its team of Field Technicians across Ireland. This is a senior technical role with responsibility for quality assurance, team development, and client engagement on major projects nationwide.The RoleYou'll be the go-to technical expert for contractors, architects, surveyors, and councils, ensuring projects meet strict specifications and warranty standards. Day-to-day, you'll split your time between managing and mentoring the field team, supporting sites hands-on, and reporting back to the senior leadership team.Key responsibilities include:Overseeing pre-contract surveys, inspections, and post-project handoversProviding advanced troubleshooting, specification checks, and wind-load assessmentsDelivering training on multiple waterproofing systems.Setting KPIs, coaching technicians, and conducting performance reviewsManaging schedules, reporting accuracy, and CRM upkeepLiaising with sales, technical, and R&D teams to resolve recurring site issuesUpholding health & safety compliance and leading toolbox talks on-siteAbout YouYou'll have a strong background in roofing or waterproofing, with at least 8 years' field experience and 3+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role. You're confident reading specs and wind-load calculations, have a knack for problem-solving, and enjoy coaching others to raise standards.What they are looking for:Proven leadership and team management skillsDeep technical expertise in roofing/waterproofing systemsStrong communication and reporting abilitiesExperience with CRM and Office 365 toolsFull EU/UK driving license and passport – willing to travel
