Technical Lead for Innovative Robotic Design
This position involves leading complex engineering design projects from concept to completion. It requires driving innovation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring robust, manufacturable designs.
* We are seeking a seasoned engineer with experience in engineering or manufacturing, minimum 5 years. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and strong AutoCAD skills are necessary.
* The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes, as well as proven ability to solve complex engineering problems and manage multiple projects.
* A strong leadership and mentoring capability is also required, along with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* HNC/HND in Engineering (Degree preferred) is the minimum qualification required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading complex engineering design projects from concept to completion.
2. Driving innovation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring robust, manufacturable designs.
3. Mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical excellence.
4. Conducting design reviews, risk assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
5. Liaising with suppliers for components and custom parts.
6. Supporting quality assurance processes, including ISO 9001 audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
