Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Bid Manager/Senior Estimator at Eirefacade Systems UK Limited. Based in Mallow, but with opportunities for flexible remote work. The Bid Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and securing high-quality, profitable bids from opportunity stage through to formal tender submission and internal Handover.This role is central to the initial customer experience. Leading external client communications, overseeing the tender process, allocating works packages to the estimating team, coordinating input from the Technical, Operations, Commercial and Finance teams, and managing vendor and subcontractor quotations.The aim is to ensure that every bid is:· Technically compliant to meet client's requirements· Commercially robust and accurate· Aligned with the company's risk appetite and strategic goalsThe Bid Manager is a key contributor to building a sustainable order book, supporting both the current business and the next generation development of people, systems, and processes across the group.Experience· Proven experience in estimating or bid management within façades, glazing, cladding, or wider construction.· Demonstrable track record of coordinating multi-discipline tender submissions to fixed deadlines.· Independent estimating of large and/or complex projectsTechnical Skills· Strong understanding of façade / glazing systems, construction methods, and project sequencing (desirable).· Competent user of estimating and tendering tools (for example LogiKal) and planning tools.· Ability to understand and take quantities off Architect's drawings· Comfortable working within integrated digital environments such as Business Central, CoreLink, and SharePoint.· Strong numeracy and analytical skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets for pricing and comparisons.Behavioural Competencies· Highly organised, structured, and disciplined in managing multiple concurrent bids.· Calm under pressure, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines without loss of quality.· Clear and concise communicator, both in writing and verbally, with clients, internal stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.· Commercially aware, with sound judgement regarding risk, margin, and the suitability of projects for the business.· Collaborative, approachable, and professional, with a focus on developing people and processes for the next generation of the business.· Is a positive influence over team/office morale
