The Role
The company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to streamline, standardise, and optimise internal processes across its growing business. This is a key leadership role responsible for aligning operations, systems, and procedures to support business efficiency, scalability, and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and refine existing operational processes across sales, logistics, and project delivery to improve workflow efficiency and alignment between departments.
* Oversee integration and optimisation of SAP systems, ensuring alignment with CRM tools and reporting structures.
* Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for core business functions.
* Collaborate with senior management to translate strategic goals into operational plans, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
* Drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption across supply chain, order management, and project fulfilment functions.
* Work closely with Finance and IT to ensure seamless data flow, accuracy, and compliance across business systems.
* Support sustainability and decarbonisation objectives through efficient operations and data‑driven decision‑making.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to cross‑functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in an Operations Management, Business Process, or Continuous Improvement role within a technical, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
* Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems, ideally SAP, with experience in systems integration and process mapping.
* Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency and developing standardised procedures.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
