Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and continuous improvement across all operational areas of an expanding distribution business. This role will be instrumental in ensuring efficient coordination across departments, delivering high levels of customer service, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, ensuring a strong focus on productivity, service excellence, and professional development

Work closely with procurement and product operations to ensure seamless service delivery
*
Enhance customer service standards by improving order accuracy, communication, and response times
*
Ensure effective coordination between sales, warehouse, and production departments to optimise workflow
*
Monitor and report on key operational and service-related performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making and accountability
Required Skills and Experience
*
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an operations management role with demonstrated strength in team leadership and customer service
*
Prior experience within agriculture, engineering or industrial goods industries in the context of distribution operations
*
Formal training in leadership, customer service, or process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is advantageous
