At our Charles Tennant Cork operation, we bag / despatch fertiliser & manage all site activities on behalf of Yara

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bagging Plant Operator
The operator role is a varied and hands on role which plays an integral part of site operations.
The list of tasks includes but not limited too
a) Bagging.
b) Operating a forklift truck, to include:
· Taking product from end of line and stacking
· Loading trucks (despatch)
· Putting pallets in the pallet stacker / handling pallets of empty bags
c) Operating a loader, to include:
· Filling intake hopper
· Loading trucks (despatch)
d) Miscellaneous activities as follows:
· Sheeting and de-sheeting product.
· Management of trucks on site during ship offloading / sheeting of bulk product.
· Cleaning floors in the warehouse.
· Handling damaged bags & waste
· Intake of pallets.
· Replacing plastic rolls on the hooding machine
· Diagnosing minor issues with the bagging line.
· General housekeeping.
Role Requirements
· Standard Leaving Cert. education, with some on the job experience in the above function.
· Valid forklift pallet truck and manual handling certificate.
· Mechanical aptitude an advantage.
