OverviewRecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care settings.We are currently hiring a Chief I Cardiac Physiologist for our hospital in Cork, Ireland.ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operation of the Cardiac Diagnostics Department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.Perform and supervise a full range of cardiac investigations, including ECG, echocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, and stress testing.Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to junior physiologists and trainees.Maintain high standards of professional practice and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, quality-assured, and safe for patient use.Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and service improvement initiatives.Support and promote Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and ongoing education for all team members.Monitor departmental performance, including waiting times, service efficiency, and audit outcomes, and implement improvements where required.Uphold a patient-centered approach, ensuring dignity, respect, and confidentiality in all aspects of care.RequirementsBSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) or Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).Equivalent Level 8 relevant scientific qualification, as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from DIT.Equivalent scientific qualification confirmed by IICMS, awarded in or before 2005.Diploma in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from a College of Technology or equivalent.Degree in Clinical Measurement or equivalent qualification.Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.At least 3 years’ experience in EP, Pacing, or Echocardiography (preferred).Strong team player with a can-do attitude.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Previous management experience (not essential).BenefitsEducation Assistance programme.Competitive salary.Relocation expenses.Excellent Contribution Pension Scheme.Flexible working patterns available.Employee Assistance Programme.
