Solutions Consultant - Ireland - Public Sector (North)
Overview
This Solutions Consultant role is focused on the Northern Ireland Public Sector, covering government departments, key agencies, and local government bodies. This environment requires a security-focused approach to support the delivery of essential public services, including healthcare, education, justice, and economic development. The role involves securing diverse and critical infrastructure while navigating relevant governance and procurement regulations. Success depends on building trusted relationships and architecting robust security solutions that protect sensitive regional data and enable appropriate cross-border collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions
* Position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio based on customer business needs
* Conduct discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers
* Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and influence through presentations, customer-specific demos, technical engagements, and workshops
* Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical win in assigned opportunities
* Coordinate resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) to present a cohesive, one-team approach
* Promote end-to-end solutions that may include PANW and/or partner professional services
* Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW leadership
* Invest in your own development to grow technical and professional skills and participate in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events
* (OT) Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships to drive a security architecture transformation roadmap
Qualifications
* Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures
* Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and business initiatives
* Ability to influence stakeholders; prior customer-facing or pre-sales experience is ideal
* Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
* Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
* Collaboration with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions
* Experience with complex sales involving long cycles and multiple buying centers
* Proficiency in English
