Job Objectives
We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the position of Assistant Clinical Psychologist.
This Will Include The Following On a Day-to-day Basis
* Live our Mission, Vision and Values.
* With the Senior Clinical Psychologist provide a range of psychological services as required including assessments, reports and recommendations, and diagnostics.
* Promote and deliver services within the Company ethos and philosophy
* Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing an integrated and coordinated service to our service users and contribute to the development of person-centred plans.
* Assist with providing advice/support programmes and training for parents and families.
* Participate actively in general development of the service.
* Ensure that professional standards are maintained.
* Monitor and keep up to date with developments in Psychology and early intervention, including attending training courses and participating in research and development.
* Participate in training as required.
* Provide support to other staff as appropriate and supervise students/volunteers as required.
* Contribute towards the on-going development of the service as required.
* Maintain quality standards within the service and participate in quality developments.
* Comply with policies and procedures as advised.
* Perform any other duties appropriate to the position from time to time.
* Assist Senior Clinical Psychologist in regard to compiling and presenting reports as required.
* Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to staff and Individuals
Qualification
Skills Requirement
* Psychology Degree or equivalent
* MSc ABA or equivalent
* All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
Experience
* Demonstrable previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience of / with people with additional and/or complex needs.
Skills
* High standard of IT literacy.
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills under pressure, ability to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent organisational skills / self-motivated / self-starter.
* Excellent verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
