Our client, a well known Irish PLC, is looking to add a Senior Financial Accountant to their Finance team in Kildare. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager and with the wider Finance Team on a range of issues.The position will oversee a portfolio of entities within the group and plays a key role in supporting and participating in the monthly, half-year and annual consolidation and statutory reporting processes. It will ideally suit someone with Industry experience within a Multinational/PLC.This role is an initial 12 month contract but will have opportunities to be made permanent. This is a great opportunity to join one of Ireland's largest PLC’s during a period of growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging month-end reporting for a portfolio of entitiesPreparing management accounts and supporting group reportingRevenue recognition for construction and forward-fund contractsAssisting with statutory accounts, audits, and annual reportingSupporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisDriving process improvements and finance projectsRequirementsPrevious management accounting experienceConstruction industry experience advantageousExperience with Dynamics NAV and Solver beneficialStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesCollaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
