Resident Engineer (Water)
You will provide supervision and management on a programme of work to deliver new and upgrade water network improvements in the South Dublin area. Due to ongoing contract awards, this Global Engineering Consultancy firm has a requirement for a Resident Engineer to work on Clean Water projects. You should be able to demonstrate previous experience in either the design or construction of watermain upgrades and rehabilitation techniques, leakage repair, etc.
As Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for site supervision of water projects. To be considered for this role, you should have the following experience:
* At least 7-10 years of postgraduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including clean water projects.
* A Degree in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering.
* Ability to write clear and concise reports and maintain work records.
* Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
* Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts; experience with FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract would be advantageous but not essential.
* A current and valid SafePass card is essential. Confined Spaces training would be desirable.
You should also possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively within a team. As travel may be involved in this role, flexibility regarding travel is required.
