System Administrator - Industrial Operations
Overview
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the development, implementation, and support of industrial operations systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, validating, and supporting all aspects of data historians, including interfaces to automated equipment, control systems, other databases, and software.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement data historian projects, including design and interface of additional data sources with Aveva PI.
* Lead data historian projects and internal/external resources, develop and manage project schedules, and report and resolve project issues.
* Design, develop, and implement queries and stored procedures.
* Provide support and system administration to some SQL databases.
* Provide administrative support, development, testing, and validation for the system IBM Maximo.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, compliance documentation, test plans, test records, release implementation, facilitate data access in terms of reporting.
* Maintain source code for Aveva PI and database projects, develop visualizations, and graphical objects with Java Scripts, ensuring that projects are built successfully in a continuous integration environment.
* Troubleshoot and document data historian performance or availability issues, data quality issues in an FDA-compliant manner.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience, or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience, or PhD and 0-2 years' experience.
* Experience in Aveva PI system administration and content development.
* Working knowledge of computer systems validation.
* Experience in reporting and query tools and practice using SQL Server 2012+ or Oracle databases.
* Experience in Java scripts and angular.
* Experience with IBM Maximo (or other Asset Management solutions).
