Your Responsibilities
Our Field Service Engineer's provide on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems. Working to a shift pattern of days and night shifts, you will analyse diagnose, and troubleshoot EPME equipment problems. You will also perform installations, repairs, upgrades as well as preventive maintenance on equipment installed at customer sites. You will be in charge of maintaining an assigned installation equipment base.
Duties include:
Analyse, diagnose and troubleshoot all hardware and software issues on state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Understand and implement factory issued hardware and software upgrades.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, electrical schematics and P&ID drawings, and utilise these in the resolution of complex system issues.
The successful candidate will take an active role in the management and control of the spare parts that we supply to the customer in support of the CMP Systems business.
Report out to both the onsite customer and local management on weekly basis detailing system performance and ongoing activities.
Skills And Qualifications
Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HVM environment or an Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year experience.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software (PLC) systems is desirable.
Must be able to demonstrate effectively and clearly the ability to deliver clear and concise information to both the internal and external customers.
Eligible to live and work in Ireland.

You will be willing to work shift which includes nights and weekends.
The role is 100% onsite therefore you must be based in Ireland.
You will be willing to travel internationally for training purposes from time to time as required.
