Shift Schedule
Fixed Days – Production Floor 7.00am – 7.00pm
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
Weekend Nights – Production Floor 7.00pm – 7.00am
Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Front End Nights – Production Floor 7.00pm – 7.00am
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Responsibilities
Perform cell activities including polishing, deburring, cutting, straightening metal, finishing, cleaning.
Operate CNC equipment for the production of products.
Accurately identify cosmetic irregularities.
Exercise assigned responsibility for on‑job training of less qualified personnel.
Correctly perform all steps of cleaning operations.
Perform all NDT activities.
Perform final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish.
Operate robotic equipment for the production of products.
Change belts and wheels as necessary for a proper finish.
Inspect parts visually and verify paperwork.
Maintain all equipment in the department as required.
Communicate with other team members and engineers concerning product defects.
Perform all production POD activities as per training provided.
Operate as part of a team to achieve productivity targets.
Requirements for the role
Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
Computer literate.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Desirable skills
Experience polishing or buffing a variety of metals.
Experience operating CNC‑controlled equipment.
Reading and interpreting blueprints.
Working with precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers.
Experience of visual inspection to detect cosmetic irregularities in metal.
Attention to detail in inspecting paperwork.
Working in a team/cellular environment.
