Circular Economy & Regenerative Tourism Munster Technological University is recruiting an experienced Researcher to work as part of the Circular Economy for Regenerative Tourism (CERT) research team.
CERT is an inter-disciplinary research team at Munster Technological University with an extensive portfolio of projects specialising in regenerative tourism, while also including circular economy, sustainability, community enterprise, digital innovation and education & training in the tourism sector.
This role will involve working across projects to contribute to project deliverables.
Responsibilities include: Deliver tasks and activities across relevant work packages within each research project Work collaboratively with CERT team and project partners on all projects Collaborate on the design and development of training programmes Design, implement and analyse surveys with participants Planning, delivery and reporting of stakeholder workshops and events Report writing and presentations Dissemination and communication to promote project activities and outcomes Contribute to publications, including peer reviewed journals, conferences, books etc.
Contribute to new project applications Engage in relevant professional training and development opportunities as required.
Qualifications and Experience: Postgraduate/Masters degree in a relevant/related field.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skills.
Self-motivation and strong ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team will be essential to the role.
Minimum 2 years experience post qualifications.
Full clean drivers licence and access to own vehicle to allow for attendance at site visits.
Availability (passport and relevant visas) to travel within Europe to project events.
The following are desirable: Ideal candidates will have: Experience in large scale collaborative EU projects Experience in sustainability performance benchmarking in SMEs Experience in the development of training for SMEs Experience in academic program development and delivery Salary:An annual salary of €46,305 will apply.
Contract duration 24 months.
