Job Purpose: Responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data related to both farm operations and financial performance. This role supports decision-making across sections by providing actionable insights into production efficiency, cost management, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
· Collect and analyse data related to breeding herd and growing herd performance
· Enter production data into the Porcitec Management software platform
· Ensure data integrity of on-farm entered production and financial data
· Produce required reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
· Work closely with production coordinators to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
· Support forecasting and capacity planning models (e.g. pig flow, inventory, feed usage)
· Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets for farms and production units
· Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted performance
· Analyse cost structures, including feed, labour, animal health, and other expenses
· Prepare financial reports and dashboards to support strategic planning
· Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time performance tracking
· Support audits, compliance checks, and reporting obligations
· Attend staff meetings and training sessions as scheduled
· Maintain consistent and punctual attendance
· Follow all Fenor Farms production, health and safety, and biosecurity policies
Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience:
* Requires advanced English-language competency (reading, writing, conversational)
* Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, Finance, Economics, or related field is desired
* 2+ years' experience in production/financial analysis (experience in animal agriculture preferred)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Excel, financial modelling, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
* Familiarity with farm management systems and accounting software (e.g. PigChamp, Pig Vision, Porcitec, Insight, SAP, etc.)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and initiative
