Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of their warehouse in Dundalk, Co. Louth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse processes, maintaining high standards of inventory management, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
Although warehouse experience is desirable, we are open to hearing from Retail Managers who are interested in expanding their career into distribution!
This is a full-time role and requires 5 over 7 day availability.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments and orders.
* Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
* Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
* Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in warehouse operations.
Skills and experience required:
* Proven experience as a Duty Manager in a fast-paced warehouse or high-volume retail environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
