Job Summary
The Goods In Operative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and supply chain by receiving, checking, and recording incoming stock and deliveries.
This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a team-player attitude. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential, along with basic computer literacy and physical fitness.

Main Responsibilities
1. Receive and unload deliveries of stock and materials efficiently and safely.
2. Check goods received against delivery notes and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
3. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
4. Accurately record goods received in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
5. Label and allocate stock to appropriate storage areas effectively.
6. Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely after training.
7. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the goods-in area at all times.
8. Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding any delivery issues.

Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy are required.
* Good communication skills and a team-player attitude are necessary.
* Physical fitness and ability to lift and move goods as required.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred but not necessary.
* Forklift truck license and experience using Warehouse Management Systems are desirable.
