Job Description:
The Procurement Category Manager will play a key role in the Ireland Procurement team, reporting to the Country Procurement Director. The successful candidate will be accountable for executing defined category strategies on a local level, leading as a Lead Buyer for local organizations.
The primary objective is to identify and enable opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, and service improvements. To achieve this, the Category Manager will provide guidelines and direction to the local team, ensuring effective execution of procurement tactics.
The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with internal customers, the local/regional category team, and external suppliers to create a framework for implementing procurement initiatives and processes.
