Role Description
The primary objective of this role is to oversee the daily operations of a residential service, ensuring the delivery of a quality client-focused experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to manage and plan entry and exiting of service, and provide support to clients with physical and sensory disabilities in a person-centred respite environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership to staff on a daily basis, facilitating the implementation of a Person Centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of clients.
* Ensure the delivery of a quality service by designing, implementing, and reviewing quality monitoring systems, adhering to relevant legislation and standards.
* Ensure adequate staff cover is provided, participating in the roster where applicable.
* Support clients in all aspects of independent living, in accordance with individual support plans.
* Document information, update records, and complete necessary paperwork for communication and accountability purposes.
Requirements
* Holds a third-level graduate degree in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
* Possesses a minimum of three years of experience in a similar/related field, preferably in an accommodation-based setting.
* Has experience and knowledge of Intellectual Disabilities/Mental Health difficulties and the HIQA process within residential settings.
