Senior Risk Manager About Your New Employer Our client a Super Manco has a 20 year history in the financial services industry and provides trading, investment and payment services and have developed a 100% proprietary platform for trading and investment.
They are seeking a Senior Risk Manager to be their market risk lead and manage their investment and fund risk frameworks among other responsibilities.
Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this role offers a great opportunity to upskill and gain valuable experience and senior stakeholder exposure.
About Your New Job As Senior Risk Manager, you will work closely with the CRO and Designated Person for Fund Risk Management, while controlling and reporting the risk management framework of the company.
You will perform controls on the Fund Risk Frameworks, ensuring risk framework adherence, as well as reporting on investment risk controls with reports including Va R, Commitment Approach and Stress Tests.
Develop and prepare the firms Sustainability Risk Assessments, remaining up to date with latest regulatory developments and integrating them into sustainability processes.
Participate in general risk management activities such as preparing and presenting risk analysis and participating in the Risk Committee including preparation of agenda and presenting content.
What Skills You Need 7-10 years experience in Senior Risk Management, fund/asset management experience preferred.
Proficiency in Fund Risk reports utilising Factset, Morningstar and the production of PRIPPs KID reports.
Assertive communication skills & ability to challenge views of senior stakeholders.
Completion, or interest in pursuing, professional certifications such as FRM, PRM or CFA will be considered a plus.
