What you'll do
As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability of key business applications used by the Lending division. Your day will begin with comprehensive system checks to guarantee that all platforms are ready for use by business teams. Throughout the day, you will respond promptly to incidents reported via ServiceNow, ensuring swift resolution while keeping stakeholders informed at every step. You will work hand-in-hand with colleagues across locations to foster a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Your responsibilities extend beyond troubleshooting; you will also participate in change management processes, liaise with vendors for software updates or escalations, contribute to testing new enhancements, and keep meticulous records of all activities. By following ITIL-aligned procedures and leveraging tools like Jira for sprint planning, you will help drive operational excellence while supporting ongoing improvements across the Lease Finance technology landscape.
All third-party applications will be managed by Robert Walters.
What you bring
Your background may include formal education in IT, Business Information Systems or Finance; however, what matters most is your ability to apply analytical thinking when evaluating complex technical issues. You are comfortable navigating both vendor-supplied platforms like Alfa v6/LEAF and internally developed solutions powered by SQL. Your familiarity with ITIL frameworks ensures you follow best practices when handling incidents or changes. You thrive on building strong relationships or liaising professionally with third-party vendors during release cycles. Your attention to detail shines through during morning system checks or when documenting actions taken throughout the day. Above all else, your commitment to delivering dependable support helps ensure that business users can rely on their technology every single day.
Qualifications and experience
- Formal education in IT, Business Information Systems or Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
