We have partnered with a leading global professional services firm to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to support the growth of high-potential sectors. This central business development role reports to both the Head of Business Development and the Sector Head, playing a key part in enabling Sector Heads and leadership teams to achieve their growth objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a 'Big Four' firm, supporting major account and sector heads in achieving their growth ambition. It is not client-facing but focuses on driving strategic growth across major accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Support development and execution of go-to-market strategies for key accounts and sectors.
* Drive best-practice account management and identify growth opportunities and strategies.
* Support cross-selling, upselling, and account-based marketing initiatives.
* Manage CRM and pipeline processes, including reporting, dashboards, and revenue tracking.
* Contribute strategic input to significant pursuits and articulate value propositions.
* Build strong internal networks locally and globally to leverage go-to-market initiatives.
Core Competencies
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
* 10+ years' experience in senior business development or commercial roles, ideally in professional services.
* Proven track record in driving growth in large accounts.
* Strong commercial acumen, sales focus, and relationship-building skills.
* Competent in CRM, pipeline management, and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and project management abilities.
