Key Responsibilities:Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and company objectives.Quotation and Bidding: Prepare and present competitive freight forwarding proposals and bids to prospective clients.Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, customer service, and management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client information using the company's CRM system.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of direct sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.In-depth knowledge of international freight forwarding, including air, ocean, and road freight.Existing network of contacts within the Irish import/export market is highly desirable.Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany pensionOn-site gymOn-site parkingProfit sharingSick payWellness programExperience:Freight Forwarding: 3 years (preferred)Location:Dublin, CO.
