We are entering a new phase of growth and are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our accounting team, oversee client delivery, and strengthen our technical offering across tax and accounts.This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA) with strong practice experience who enjoys leadership, technical review, and improving systems. CTA qualification (or part-qualified CTA) is a significant advantage. The role includes an annual performance bonus linked to individual contribution, portfolio growth, and practice performance.This is a remote role with an initial onboarding period requiring office attendance 2–3 days per week in our Balbriggan office. Occasional office visits may be required during the year for client or team meetings.Key Responsibilities· Lead, coach, and support the team to deliver high-quality work on time· Review and sign off on accounts and tax work, ensuring accuracy and compliance· Manage workflow, capacity planning, and job scheduling· Act as the technical escalation point for accounting, corporation tax, income tax, and VAT· Maintain and improve procedures, templates, and practice management workflows· Provide structured feedback, support CPD, and develop team capability· Support payroll operationally· Manage a small client portfolio with strong communication and relationship ownershipPractice Management & Systems· Drive continuous improvement across processes and margins· Monitor performance metrics and support practice KPIs· Support onboarding from a technical and operational perspectiveCommercial & Advisory· Identify opportunities for additional advisory work, tax planning, and project work· Support proposal/pricing improvements· Drive growth of the client portfolio while maintaining strong profitability across service linesExperience & Skills Required· 5+ years practice experience in Ireland· 5+ years post Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA)· CTA qualification or strong tax capability an advantage· Experience reviewing accounts, CT, IT, VAT, CGT· Confident managing people, workflow, and deadlines· Excellent communication and judgment· Strong knowledge of Cloud Accounting· Practising certificate desirable.
