Ergo are seeking an IT Systems Engineer for a long-term contract role in Dublin or Wexford. As an IT Systems Engineer you will act as a point of escalation for Junior (L1/L2) Engineers while supporting a small number of sites within an ITIL environment. In addition to BAU the successful candidate will be involved in project work and should be confident in a Team Lead role.You should have strong experience in the Microsoft 365 stack, ITIL and possess an Irish Driving License .This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 2 / 3 days per week.What will you do?Provide technical support for a variety of users using IT services, e.g., staff, Board members, contractors, partners, etc.Solve problems while working in a team who can manage their time efficiently and prioritise or escalate technical issues to ensure a prompt closure.Deal with incidents, service requests and problems as defined by the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.Escalate calls from 2nd line support.Mentor 1st Line supports helping to grow knowledge and skills.Visiting sites to complete IT projectsLiaise with contracted support companies to support the ICT environment where necessary.You should have previous experience in the following:Microsoft 365 stackMS Defender for endpointMS Intune for device managementSharePoint / SharePoint OnlineActive Directory / Entra ID Administration understanding forests, domain, and access controlWindows 10/11 Operating SystemsMicrosoft SQL ServerThe following is also required:Full Driver's LicenseFluent EnglishITIL certification (or willing to obtain)Apply today for more info.
