Regulatory Reporting Analyst – Permanent

A+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the banking sector to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical skills to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team within a global financial institution.
The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will take ownership of the preparation and submission of regulatory and capital reports. The role involves a mix of hands-on financial analysis and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare internal capital reports, including daily large exposure and monthly capital ratios
* Assist in the production and submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory capital and statistical reports
* Perform detailed variance analysis, report reconciliations, and control checks
* Support process improvements and system enhancements using tools such as JIRA and Axiom
* Participate in training to enhance understanding of the European regulatory landscape
* Ensure compliance with all operational, risk, and regulatory standards
Requirements
* University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and variance analysis
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-starter with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, inclusive environment
* Experience with regulatory reporting tools such as Axiom or JIRA
