We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineerwith strong experience in system and automation testing across enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites while working closely with developers, testers, and technical stakeholders across Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models.
This role requires solid technical testing expertise, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the System Test Life Cycle (STLC).
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automation test suitesaligned with business and technical requirements
* Create and review test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
* Execute System Testing, UAT, Regression Testing, and Disturbance Testing
* Work closely with developers, testers, and technical teamsto identify and resolve defects
* Contribute to test strategy, test estimates, and test documentation
* Ensure test coverage across APIs, services, databases, and messaging layers
* Prepare and manage test data, including data masking where required
* Validate integrations involving XML, JSON, JMS, and messaging systems
* Support CI/CD pipelinesthrough automated testing practices
* Adhere to testing standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
* Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Mandatory Skills Experience
* ISTQB Certified Tester
* Strong experience with automation testing toolssuitable for enterprise IT architectures
* Hands-on experience with Java and/or JavaScript
* Strong knowledge of SQLand relational databases
* Experience testing Web Services / APIs
* Working knowledge of JSON, XML, UNIX, and associated tools
* Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
* Hands-on experience with JUnit
* Experience working across the full System Test Life Cycle (STLC)
