The Technician position is a permanent position in the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment at SETU Waterford. The appointee will assist in the functions relating to the Plumbing Apprenticeship Workshop within the Department of Apprenticeships & Skills. The appointee will provide support of a technical nature and work closely with lecturing and other staff in discharging their duties. The person appointed will have a broad knowledge of plumbing and have the appropriate training and competencies for a range of equipment including those associated with plumbing and welding.
The appointee must be flexible, use their own initiative and adapt to new technical challenges to enhance the services of the Department.
