Job Summary
This is a role as a Credit & Collections Specialist for a global multinational based in East Cork. The company offers excellent rates of pay and hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for a large and growing debtors listing, with the goal of minimising debt and overall Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
* Ensure timely and efficient follow-up on due and overdue accounts and payments.
* Issue written correspondence to customers, including reminder letters and monthly statements.
* Determine how much credit to extend to a customer based on credit policy, credit ratings, financials, and payment history.
* Provide a key point of interaction with Commercial and Finance teams.
* Assess the credit risk of specific companies, interpreting financials and making recommendations backed by solid judgement and reasoning.
* Liaise with internal finance/commercial colleagues and other personnel to confirm details regarding customers and overdue payments.
* Serve as a point of contact for internal and external queries, supporting the resolution of billing queries relating to outstanding invoices.
* Support the preparation of monthly management reports related to DSO, flux, and aging analysis.
Requirements:

* Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
* ERP experience, particularly with Oracle or SAP, is an advantage.
* Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry and in a multinational organisation is desirable.
