In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key point of contact for data requests, ensuring timely delivery of accurate and secure data insights that support our business operations and strategic objectives.Sounds great, what will the day to day in the role look like?Receive, prioritize, and manage incoming data export and benchmarking requests from internal and external stakeholders.Act as a liaison between customer support, account managers, and technical teams to clarify data requirements and provide regular status updates.Extract, transform, and deliver data from the Peakon datalake into various formats (CSV, Excel, JSON) tailored to stakeholder needs.Conduct comprehensive data validation checks to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and integrity before sharing data.Adhere to data security protocols and privacy regulations to protect sensitive information.Maintain detailed records of data requests, progress, and resolutions. Document recurring patterns and processes to aid future automation and product enhancements.What skills and experience does this role require?Proven experience as a Data Analyst or a similar data-centric role.Strong proficiency in SQL for advanced data querying, manipulation, formatting and exporting.Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of data governance principles, including data privacy and security best practices.Bonus: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PySpark) and working with data lakes to automate workflows and enhance data processing capabilities.This opportunity is an 11-month contract, 15 hours per week, hybrid in Dublin 7, paying up to €48 per hour.
