Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Work with young people between the ages of 10 to 24 in a community setting, to be based between ETB building Killenaule and Community House Fethard.
* Supervise young people from 10 years upwards in various project groups, helping to facilitate a range of activities and programmes in areas such as Health Promotion, Sexual Health, Education, Sports, Hobbies / Interests, Music and Local / Regional / National Events.
* Carry out some administration work, facilitate programmes, coach young people and pursue personal development opportunities.
* Be flexible with regard to hours as weekend and evening work involved.
* On-the-job and accredited training will be provided; prior experience is not essential.
Note: The role is especially suited to those who would like to pursue a career working with young people and teenagers in a community-based setting.
