Settlements Risk Analyst - 6 month FTC
A global quantitative trading firm is looking for a Settlements Risk Analyst to join their European team. They are known for their expertise in derivatives trading, market making and handling high volumes of global transactions across multiple asset classes.
This role sits close to the trading floor, supporting global settlements and working across products like equities, ETFs and bonds. You will help manage positions, ensure smooth and timely trade settlement, handle trade matching, work with prime brokers and support various internal teams to keep everything running efficiently. There is also plenty of scope to get involved in projects tied to trading desk activity.
What you need
* 3rd level degree, preferably in a business
* Sharp attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Confidence to ask questions and use your initiative
* Interest in financial markets
* Tech friendly - SQL or Python is a bonus
* Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach
* Solid problem solving ability and calm under pressure
