The role functions as an "TL" will assist in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness required in bedrooms and public areas at The Lodge at Hogs Head. Additionally, this person will assist with various tasks associated with the Accommodation Department. This position will work closely with and report directly to the Accommodation Manager and General Manager of Hogs Head Golf Club. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Performs other duties as assigned by management.· Supporting the Accommodation Manager in ensuring that each guest is provided with the highest levels of Housekeeping Service in accordance with 5-star expectations.· To be familiar with each day's business regarding room occupancy, special requirements and ensuring that all Accommodation Staff are aware of the daily evening business and requirements.· To ensure all staff is on duty as per their roster, monitoring work given to the team throughout the day to ensure tasks meet the defined standards.· To actively train all staff to the standards laid down in the SOP Manual and monitor their work performance, taking corrective action where necessary· To support the team in a hands-on capacity as required in ensuring rooms are cleaned to the defined standard.· To provide the guest, at all times, with the highest levels of guest care and personal attention, where possible anticipating the guests' needs and initiating actions to exceed expectations where possible· Promote the use of the guest's name where possible and to ensure all guests interactions are in a friendly professional manner.COMMUNICATION:· To liaise efficiently with the HOD's to enhance our members and guest's experiences at all times.· Maintaining effective communication to ensure plans, challenges and successes are understood, and individual performance is aligned to Company requirements.· Respond to any complaints and find the appropriate solution.TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:· Continuously develop job knowledge by attending all scheduled company training.· Promoting and contributing to a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.· Ensure team members are conversant with and aware of Company standards and that those standards are fully implemented.· Utilise leadership skills and motivation to maximise employee productivity and satisfaction.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
