A vacancy has arisen within the Doyle Collection Brand of Luxury Hotels for an Engineering Project Manager, based in Central London.
The position is for an individual with a proven, well-rounded technical background, working to the highest standards to support the protection and development of the Doyle Collection hotel assets.
Reporting to and working with the Head of Risk, Assets and Facilities, this autonomous and dynamic role oversees various projects initially at the 3 London Hotels and subsequently across all eight prestigious properties in our 3 jurisdictions.
The role includes life-cycle and maintenance engineering projects, maintenance planning, scope preparation, RFQs, specifications, work schedules, simple drawings, tender management, consultant and contractor appointments, project supervision including CDM, budget control, and final account settlement.
The successful candidate will also support hotel Maintenance Teams with technical guidance and establish/monitor preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong equipment and facilities lifespan, aiming for industry best practices.
This role suits an Engineer with a strong background in Hotel or similar facilities management, with over 10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, CAPEX lifecycle, technology work packages, scope writing, tender/bid processes, and hard facilities management, including project management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating services.

Competencies and Experience:
* Extensive experience with FM Hard Services & Project Management
* Educational qualifications such as BTEC Diploma, HND, or Degree are advantageous
* Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services engineering
* Minimum 10 years of Mechanical and/or Electrical experience with a good understanding of building services systems for data capture
* Positive, proactive attitude, self-motivated, safety-conscious
* Familiarity with Pumps, Plumbing, HVAC, Boilers, Chilled water systems, Lifts, Fire & Life safety systems, electrical distribution, and lighting
* Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) architecture and IoT systems
* Awareness of Energy Saving measures and Net Zero initiatives
* Understanding of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis
* Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
