Mechanical Site Managers oversee the day-to-day activities of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include managing subcontractors and direct labor to meet quality and safety standards, collaborating with project engineers on quality assurance documentation, maintaining site offices and stores, and addressing payroll-related queries.
Main Responsibilities:
Oversight of onsite operations and productivity, including management of company operatives and subcontractors.
Supporting project engineers in preparing and delivering quality assurance documentation according to project milestones.
Site office and stores management, including adherence to QDSM signage and housekeeping standards throughout the project duration.
Assistance to contracts managers in developing and executing project programs.
Resolution of payroll-related queries related to timesheets for site personnel.
Coordination of mechanical services and builders' works drawings.
Procurement of materials and confirmation of plant delivery schedules to align with the project program.
Ensuring timely submission of delivery dockets to procurement departments.
Identification and reporting of site variations to contracts managers; assistance in documenting variation works.
Attendance at regular site meetings and weekly whiteboard coordination meetings.
Ensuring all installations meet QDSM standards.
Management of commissioning and testing phases for all mechanical services.
Effective management of site decant and project close-out procedures.
