We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a busy construction team in the Munster area. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of all engineering aspects throughout the project. Concrete frame and building experience are essential for this role.
Key Duties
Management and mentoring of Junior Engineers and subcontractors
Setting out from engineers' drawings, site surveys, and as-built drawings
Reading and interpreting drawings for layouts, materials, and measurement
Working with subcontractors and the general workforce on site
Planning works efficiently to ensure programme targets are achieved
Liaising with client representatives and design team members as appropriate
Ensuring all works are carried out to the highest health and safety standards
Maintaining quality standards throughout all stages of construction
Ordering and controlling materials on site
Maintaining site records as required
Skills & Experience
Third-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction engineering
Concrete frame and building experience essential
Proven ability to manage junior engineers and subcontractors (Note: remove any spaces in the closing tag)
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong focus on safety, quality, and programme delivery
Full clean driving licence
