About The Role
We're looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Maintenance Operative to help keep our homes and estates safe, clean, and in good condition. You'll carry out repairs, support contractors, and make sure tenants are happy with the work done.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general repairs (carpentry, plastering, painting, minor plumbing and groundworks).
* Respond to repair requests quickly and professionally.
* Work with contractors and check their work when needed.
* Keep tenants informed and ensure repairs are done safely and with care.
* Maintain gardens and outdoor areas (grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting).
* Assist in keeping estates clean and tidy (remove waste, graffiti, clear paths).
* Help with bulky waste, skips, and abandoned vehicles.
* Monitor fire alarms and act as keyholder for communal areas.
* Support community events and help tenants with heating or damp issues.
* Follow health and safety rules and use proper tools and PPE.
* Keep records of work and report any ongoing issues to the Asset Team.
