Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require an experienced Tax Specialist to join a growing Tax team based in their Dublin Head Office As a Tax Analyst, you will support the organisation's tax function across all areas of taxation, with a focus on Corporation tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes (e.g. stamp duty, RCT). You will work closely with the finance, legal, and project teams as well as external stakeholders Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will work as part of a small, highly qualified team, and you will get good exposure to a variety of tasks Key Tasks will include: Preparation of direct and indirect Tax returns Tax advisory for acquisitions, disposals and projects Tax advisory support to various business units Support process improvements in tax reporting Liaise closely with external advisors to ensure compliance with tax legislation Support audits and provide documentation and analysis if required Ideally, you will be a practice-trained Qualified Chartered Accountant or Qualified Tax Adviser with a strong understanding of Irish tax legislation, especially in VAT, who also possesses strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills along with good Excel skills. Happy to consider someone who is newly qualified as well as those who have 2-3 years pqe.
