Accounts Assistant
The Ideal Candidate will have the following requirements: -
* Experience working in an Accounts Department preferably in a hotel industry.
* Must have a knowledge of and a willingness to assist in all accounting functions as assigned and to cover the vacation of colleagues in the accounting department.
* Must be willing to move in rotation through various accounting functions.
* Required knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office, and Excel. Previous experience with hotel systems including Hotsoft and Volante is beneficial but not vital.
* Strong communication skills to deliver accurate information.
General Work overview
* Audit all income generated by the hotel and produce reports for distribution.
* Reconciliation of daily cash receipts, credit card receipts, and vouchers.
* Supplier payments processing and all associated tasks
* Daily reporting of all corrections and adjustments and circulation of report to relevant management.
* Manage accounts receivable – Issue invoices / chase creditors payments
* Assist with month end stocktakes
* Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
