About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious Assistant / Junior Project Manager to join our team. This role is a brilliant step for someone who has a solid technical foundation but is ready to learn the operational side of managing projects from start to finish.
You won't be expected to know everything from day one. This is a role designed for growth, where you will be given the tools, mentorship, and responsibility to step up into project management over time. Key Responsibilities
Project Learning & Delivery: Work closely with the team to learn how to manage project delivery from contract award to final handover.
Technical Support: Review designs, engineering drawings, and specifications, helping to coordinate with suppliers and consultants.
Health & Safety: Learn and implement our safety standards and ensure site operations comply with standard regulations.
Commercial Exposure: Assist with tracking project budgets, procurement, and subcontractor progress to build your commercial skills.
Communication: Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, site teams, and internal management.
Person Specification
Education: A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: Some experience working within the construction industry. Prior exposure to roofing, façades, or building envelopes is a bonus but not essential.
Tech Literacy: Strong comfort with modern digital tools and the ability to pick up new internal systems quickly.
Attributes: A sharp mind, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to learn and take on responsibility.
