This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Machine Control Specialist. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to provide on-site machine control installations, measure, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of various machine control systems across all machine types, brands, and technology models.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of hardware, including accurately measuring machine control systems on OEM machines and customers' construction equipment. They will also be involved in service support, maintenance, calibration, and training of operators on system use and operation.

We are looking for someone with a college or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulics, or Electronic engineering, or similar. Recent experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment machines is essential. Familiarity with construction site operations using heavy equipment machine control systems is desired, as well as experience in Arc welding (useful but not essential). Operation of heavy construction equipment is an advantage.

A basic understanding of using a PC, including Microsoft Office applications, is required. The ability to research new and existing technical information through the Trimble portfolio is also necessary. Experience of construction equipment technology and ground survey/digital field equipment would be preferred.

As a Machine Control Specialist, you will work closely with the Installation and Support Team Leader to ensure high-quality installations and customer satisfaction. You will be supervised by a fully qualified SITECH Installation and Support Engineer and receive further product training when necessary.

The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. A keen eye for detail and the ability to fault-find through knowledge/experience and root cause mechanical/electronics awareness are essential.
