Accounts Assistant Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Accounts Assistant. This role is ideal for individuals who possess excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently.
2. Reconcile supplier statements monthly and follow up on missing invoices.
3. Process sales ledger invoices and assist with credit control duties.
4. Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
5. Run debtor reports and issue customer statements.
6. Prepare supplier payment run reports for the Accounts Manager at month-end.
7. Complete credit card reconciliations.
8. Maintain and update multi-user spreadsheets.
9. Manage and respond to queries in the shared accounts mailbox.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Sage 50 and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have excellent communication skills.
