Warehouse Operations Manager
Overview:
This exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of a large warehouse site in Portlaoise.
The successful candidate will lead a team of up to 35 staff, driving high performance levels and fostering strong relationships with key customers.
* Key Responsibilities: Manage warehouse operations ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity and quality across all areas of warehouse operations.
* Lead a team of warehouse operatives to maintain high standards of housekeeping, maintenance and Health & Safety within the facility.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders such as maintenance contractors, auditors and customers to ensure seamless operational delivery.
Requirements:
* Strong background in warehouse management with experience in managing teams.
* IT/Computer literate with experience of stock management software systems.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Flexible approach to work, able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
