Flexsource/CPL are currently recruiting for The Irish Prison Service, recruiting Prison Officers (Trades) to support the maintenance and rehabilitation efforts within the prison system. This role includes responsibilities that align well with trade skills (Electrical), such as: Electrical repairs and overall maintenance works.
What You'll Do:
1. Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and project work
2. Conduct statutory electrical checks and compile reports
3. Supervise and support prisoners in a secure environment
4. Assist with prison operations including escorts, searches, and monitoring
5. Play an active role in rehabilitation and community initiatives
What You Need:
6. A National Craft Certificate (or equivalent) in the Electrical Trade
7. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
8. Be 18+ years old by 27th June
9. Good character, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
