My client, a leading provider of strategic software development and IT services, is looking for a Delivery Director to spearhead a portfolio of their keynote digital transformation programmes.
You will provide strong technical leadership to multiple agile delivery teams and engage in strategic planning with business and IT stakeholders, to provide direction, architectural decisions, and technology recommendations to enhance your practice's offering.
Leveraging your deep understanding of the technology landscape, you will advise and influence stakeholders and wider teams in the development of solutions, across build, deployment, testing, and maintenance of modern and innovative IT services.
Delivery Director - Experience required:
1. At least 8 years' experience in Software Development/Delivery.
2. Solid experience in People and Project Management.
3. Strong understanding and application of Agile/Lean principles.
4. Ability to motivate and mentor a software engineering team, with performance development plans, appraisals, 1-2-1's and mentoring, with a track record of managing Managers.
5. Demonstrable experience developing and delivering on a technology strategy/roadmap.
6. Stakeholder management experience with ability to communicate effectively and secure buy-in from C-suite level stakeholders, colleagues, and clients alike.
